Now things are less busy after the Game Fair I've been able to work on some portfolio pieces using the panels we made earlier in the year. The higher quality of support provided by these hand made panels makes painting even more enjoyable as I can produce a much smoother picture. The higher quality also makes the pictures more valuable, which always makes me happy!
So far I've managed to paint our life model in a new pose (pictured above) as well as a couple of little still lifes: "Three Flat Peaches" and "Strawberries and Cream". Once completed this will be the first portfolio I'll be showing to galleries in the hope they'll take me on for exhibitions with other artists. I'll also be looking at framing the pictures myself later in the year.
