This month I made the decision to join a co-operative gallery, based in Buxton, called the Green Man Gallery. This is a good opportunity to get my work on display to a regular set of customers. I'm also finding it useful and interesting to be around fellow artists on a regular basis. It's helpful to have like minded people to bounce ideas off and being part of some kind of art world certainly helps one to make contacts.
At the beginning of the month I also made the decision to have some giclée prints of my paintings made by a professional printer. I've mounted to gallery standards an extremely limited number of my favourite pieces.
I made this decision to widen the market a little for potential customers who may find my original painting prices a little much. The prints are on display and for sale at the Green Man Gallery.
